Advent TIME between lake and mountain
With the first snow, the Nockberge mountains are transformed into a winter wonderland. The scent of punch and Baumkuchen wafts through the air, especially on the light trail in Millstatt and the Advent markets in Bad Kleinkirchheim, Spittal an der Drau and Feldkirchen. Musical sounds accompany cheerful conversations, while children cuddle with cuddly animals and discover handmade treasures.
TIP: THE LIGHT PATH IN MILLSTATT
From 1 December to 6 January, light interventions will bathe Millsatt in a magical light. They provide inspiration and orientation along the 2.3 kilometre-long light trail. The path leads from the lake up to the newly designed Barbara Egger Park and through the wintry alleyways of the historic centre. Six storytelling stations invite you to listen.
