Simply disappear. Get going. Hiking in each other's footsteps over ruby-red treasure mountains, vistas as far as the Hohe Tauern, the Karawanken and the Carnic Alps. Perceiving extraordinary flower meadows with the senses.
Swim in the crystal-clear, mineral-rich lake water, which is up to 27° warm and of drinking water quality.
From spring to autumn you can hike, walk, cycle leisurely around the lake or ambitiously climb the mountains on a mountain bike. If you like golf, you can get to know one of the most beautiful golf courses in Carinthia on the sunny plateau. You will also find several riding stables on the plateau. Paragliders can circle over the lake from the Mirnock, do a round of water skiing in the evening and end the day with a fish dish.
In winter you have the opportunity to explore various ski areas. These offer something for everyone. From the world cup resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim to the small family ski resort on the Falkert, everything is there. Explore Lake Weissensee on ice skates or take a toboggan hike to the MIllstätter Alpe. Afterwards, you can relax in the Millstätter See bathhouse.
Millstatt am See, 2 km away, is an old cultural center with galleries, symposiums and an old building structure such as villas from the Gründerzeit, but also a 1000-year-old Benedictine monastery. The gastronomy is versatile and the beach promenade invites you to stroll. The artist town of Gmünd with a number of modern galleries and top exhibitions (from Albrecht Dürer to Pablo Picasso) is about 30 minutes away by car.
